Program Details

Following breakfast at the hotel, guests will visit the historic Bagh-e Babur, one of Kabul’s most treasured landmarks and the final resting place of Emperor Babur, founder of the Mughal Empire. Dating back to the early 16th century, the gardens feature terraced landscapes, historic architecture, and panoramic views of Kabul.

Lunch will be served at a selected local restaurant.

In the afternoon, guests will explore the famous Chicken Street Bazaar, renowned for traditional handicrafts, carpets, gemstones, antiques, and souvenirs. The market provides a unique opportunity to experience Kabul’s vibrant commercial culture.

The tour includes a visit to the magnificent Herat Citadel, also known as the Citadel of Alexander. With origins spanning more than two millennia, this restored fortress serves as one of Afghanistan’s most significant historical monuments.

The day concludes with a city tour of Herat before dinner at the hotel.

The tour continues to the famous Musalla Minarets, renowned for their elegant design and intricate blue tilework that symbolize Herat’s golden age.

After lunch, guests will visit the revered Tomb of Khwaja Abdullah Ansari at Gazargah, one of Afghanistan’s most important spiritual and pilgrimage sites.
