Guests will be welcomed upon arrival at Kabul International Airport by our professional tour representatives and guides. Following airport assistance and baggage handling, guests will be transferred to their hotel for check-in and a comprehensive tour briefing.

After time to relax and recover from the flight, guests will enjoy a welcome dinner at one of Kabul’s selected restaurants, offering authentic Afghan cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Program Details

After breakfast at the hotel, guests will begin their exploration of Kabul with a visit to the historic Gardens of Babur, one of Afghanistan’s most treasured heritage sites and the final resting place of Emperor Babur, founder of the Mughal Empire.

Following lunch at a local restaurant, the tour continues to Chicken Street Bazaar, Kabul’s most famous traditional marketplace. Visitors can browse carpets, handicrafts, gemstones, antiques, and souvenirs while experiencing the city’s vibrant commercial culture.

Dinner will be served at a selected local restaurant before returning to the hotel.

Following breakfast, guests will visit the iconic Darul Aman Palace, one of Afghanistan’s most significant historical landmarks. Constructed during the reign of King Amanullah Khan in the 1920s, the palace represents Afghanistan’s modernization efforts and architectural vision.

After lunch, guests will continue to the Kabul National Museum, home to remarkable archaeological collections and cultural artifacts representing thousands of years of Afghan civilization and history.

Dinner will be served at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.

After breakfast and hotel check-out, guests will transfer to Kabul Airport for their domestic flight to Herat, one of Afghanistan’s oldest and most historically significant cities.

Upon arrival and hotel check-in, guests will enjoy lunch before beginning their exploration of the city. The afternoon includes a visit to the magnificent Herat Citadel, also known as the Citadel of Alexander, a remarkable fortress with origins dating back more than two thousand years.

The tour continues with a guided city tour of Herat, allowing guests to experience the atmosphere, architecture, and cultural heritage that have made Herat one of Central Asia’s great historical cities.

Day 5 — Herat Historical & Cultural Exploration

Following breakfast, guests will visit the historic Gawhar Shad Mausoleum and Madrasa, commissioned by the influential Timurid queen Gawhar Shad during the 15th century. The site remains one of the finest examples of Timurid architecture and artistic achievement.

The tour continues to the iconic Musalla Minarets of Herat, renowned for their elegant blue tilework and historical significance. These surviving towers stand as symbols of Herat’s golden age under Timurid rule.

After lunch, guests will visit the Shrine of Khwaja Abdullah Ansari at Gazargah, one of Afghanistan’s most important pilgrimage sites and a masterpiece of Islamic architecture.

Dinner will be served at a selected local restaurant before returning to the hotel.

Day 6 — Herat Heritage Tour & Return to Kabul

Subject to time availability, the tour will continue to the historic Malan Bridge, an important reminder of Herat’s historic role as a crossroads of trade and civilization.

Following lunch, guests will transfer to Herat Airport for their domestic flight back to Kabul. Upon arrival, they will be transferred to their hotel for check-in and relaxation.

After a farewell lunch overlooking the lake, guests will transfer to Kabul International Airport for their scheduled departure flight, concluding their Afghan cultural journey.
