After breakfast at the hotel, guests will begin their exploration of Kabul with a visit to the historic Gardens of Babur, one of Afghanistan’s most treasured heritage sites and the final resting place of Emperor Babur, founder of the Mughal Empire.

Following lunch at a local restaurant, the tour continues to Chicken Street Bazaar, Kabul’s most famous traditional marketplace. Visitors can browse carpets, handicrafts, gemstones, antiques, and souvenirs while experiencing the city’s vibrant commercial culture.

Dinner will be served at a selected local restaurant before returning to the hotel.

Following breakfast, guests will visit the iconic Darul Aman Palace, one of Afghanistan’s most significant historical landmarks. Constructed during the reign of King Amanullah Khan in the 1920s, the palace represents Afghanistan’s modernization efforts and architectural vision.

After lunch, guests will continue to the Kabul National Museum, home to remarkable archaeological collections and cultural artifacts representing thousands of years of Afghan civilization and history.

After breakfast and hotel check-out, guests will transfer to Kabul Airport for their domestic flight to Kandahar, Afghanistan’s second-largest city and the birthplace of modern Afghanistan.

Upon arrival and hotel check-in, guests will enjoy lunch before beginning their exploration of Kandahar’s historic landmarks.

The afternoon includes a visit to Chilzina, or the “Forty Steps,” a historic hillside monument featuring inscriptions associated with the Mughal era and offering panoramic views of Kandahar. The tour continues to the Ahmad Shah Durrani Mausoleum and Museum, dedicated to the founder of modern Afghanistan and one of the nation’s most revered historical figures.

Dinner will be served at a selected local restaurant before returning to the hotel.

Day 5 — Kandahar Historical & Cultural Exploration

The day starts with a visit to the historic Kandahar Citadel (Arg-e Kandahar), a fortress associated with centuries of Afghan history and one of the city’s most significant landmarks. The tour continues to the revered Shrine of the Cloak (Kherqa Sharif), one of Afghanistan’s most sacred religious sites.

After lunch, guests will visit Baba Wali Shrine, a respected pilgrimage site overlooking the beautiful Arghandab Valley. The excursion then continues through the fertile Arghandab region, renowned for its orchards, agricultural heritage, and scenic landscapes.
